Perched on top of a hillside overlooking a river, the timeless design of the home, by Harrison Design, extols the setting. With its flat, red clay tile roof and limestone façade, this residence emulates the historical chateaux in southeastern France. An attention to detail, such as decorative wrought iron ornamentation, hand-forged steel-and-glass doors and intricate trim and millwork, distinguishes the home. The limestone mantle in the living room was hand carved and arched windowed doorways open to Juliet balconies with views of the countryside. Within its overall formality, rustic elements in the family spaces lend a comfortable ease.
