Based in Atlanta, Bulent is a 1995 graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, earning both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He joined Harrison Design in 1995. In their 2003 westward expansion, Bulent launched the Santa Barbara operation, overseeing the highly publicized creation of a showcase home for Traditional Home magazine. Later in 2010, the firm opened an office in Washington, D.C. and Bulent again established the new business.
His work has been widely published in elegant shelter publications, featuring both renovations and larger-scale custom designs. Among his custom commercial works are north Georgia’s Montaluce Winery and the award-winning Island Design & Architectural Center in St. Simons, Georgia.
A commitment to his clients’ vision is as essential to Bulent as are the classical tenets of scale and proportion. Fluent in both Turkish and English, Bulent has traveled the world. His global sensibility and perspective informs the easy rapport he enjoys with his clients. Likewise, his thoughtful nature is infused in his work, no matter how grand the scale. The designs are both warm and welcoming.
