Gregory L. Palmer, AIA, NCARB

Based in Atlanta, Greg is a frequently published veteran of the field who received his bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University in 1986. The career that followed took him through several revered firms—James W. Buckley & Associates, Cotner & Associates and Kenneth Lynch & Associates—before he landed at Harrison Design in 1995.

An expert at commercial, residential, historical renovation and resort design, Greg has the distinct honor of overseeing the firm’s offices in St. Simons Island, Georgia, Washington, D.C. and Shanghai, China. His work focuses chiefly on client understanding in lieu of preconceived notions. Greg’s highly interactive approach to architecture results in bespoke projects that are genuine reflections of the individuals who inhabit them, all the while exuding exceptional craftsmanship, detail and functionality.

He routinely collaborates with many of the nation’s leading interior designers, landscape architects and contractors, thereby offering his clients access to the finest resources within the industry. Greg continues to pass on his know-how through mentorship, teaching and participation in juried competitions.
