INSIDE THE INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIOS AT HARRISON DESIGN

Harrison Design’s interior design studios are more than a finishing layer. It shapes how a home is experienced, lived in, and remembered.

Our interior design studios operate independently, giving teams the freedom to fully tailor spaces to a client’s lifestyle and aesthetic. At the same time, they collaborate with our architectural teams whenever a project calls for it.

With studios in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara, each brings a distinct perspective rooted in place, always guided by the people who will call the space home.

Designed Around Real Life

Every project begins with understanding how a client lives. Our teams take the time to learn about the family, pets, and even frequent guests. These insights guide decisions at every level, resulting in homes that feel personal and intuitive.

Independent, Yet Collaborative

Each studio functions independently, approaching every project with clarity and intention. At the same time, our designers integrate seamlessly with architects, ensuring a cohesive result whether they join at the start or mid-project.

Livable Luxury

A well-designed home should be both beautiful and functional. Durable materials, thoughtful layouts, and carefully considered selections create spaces that support daily life while maintaining refinement. Interiors should feel luxurious without being too precious for everyday living.

The Power of Detail

Often, it is the quiet details that define a space. Layering lighting, finishes, and textures adds depth, warmth, and cohesion. These elements make interiors feel effortless yet intentional.

Timeless, Yet Personal

Timeless design relies on proportion, restraint, and a focus on what endures. By grounding each project in the client’s perspective, our interiors feel collected, lasting, and uniquely personal.

A Look Inside the Studios

Harrison Design’s interior design studios reflect their regions while maintaining a shared commitment to tailored design.

Atlanta

Karen Ferguson opened Harrison Design’s first interiors studio and now serves as Senior Principal. She creates spaces that balance timeless elegance with everyday livability. Her work ranges from urban apartments to lakefront retreats, each thoughtfully tailored to a client’s lifestyle, priorities, and vision.

Inspired by Southern California’s relaxed elegance, he designs interiors that are balanced, harmonious, and layered. His work includes ground-up homes and apartment renovations that reflect both the client’s personality and the region’s style.

She draws inspiration from the city’s historic architecture and coastal environment, creating interiors that are personal, timeless, and functional. Her projects range from historic restorations to modern renovations, all focused on enhancing the home’s character while reflecting the client’s lifestyle.
