After outgrowing its building, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church needed a new campus to include a church building, parish offices, meeting hall and classrooms. In a Romanesque style, the plan for building the stone structure on its 13-acre site was divided into two phases. The first phase covers construction of the 16,000-sq.ft. church structure with seating for 600, including a day chapel and 100-foot tower. In the second phase, an additional wing will expand seating to 900, and provide an office and hall area, bringing the structure’s total size to 22,000 square feet.
