Originally designed as a vacation residence on Sea Island in 2000, this Palladian villa was fully reimagined when the clients chose to make it their permanent home after more than two decades. Because the footprint had reached its maximum buildable area, the renovation focused on precision: the second floor was largely reconfigured, and a third level introduced within the existing roofline as a copper-clad belvedere with ocean views, accommodating a home office, gym, and bunk room. Interior updates replaced dark mahogany finishes with a lighter palette, improving daylight while preserving the limestone columns and stone floors of the original design.
