Sea Island’s salt marshes provide a distinctively southern setting for this English style estate. An Edwin Lutyens inspired bay window with scallop bracket evokes the English countryside while little ornamentation and glass openings in the center galleries and a floor-to-ceiling window add a contemporary twist to the traditional style. Natural cypress beams add warmth and frame the all-white interiors, which act as a blank canvas to the carefully selected furniture, organic fibers and textures found throughout the home. A screened porch serves as a second living area during the warmer months and allows indoor comforts to be enjoyed poolside.
