In a late 19th-century English-country style, this residence’s brick-and-limestone exterior features a slate roof, detailed chimneys, and porte cochère concealing the courtyard garage. Harrison Design conceived the 6,000-square-foot residence to comfortably accommodate large gatherings and extended stays by children and grandchildren. An array of classically paned windows and doors allows sunlight to suffuse the interior, which has a gracious, open feeling. In the living room, a folding window wall seamlessly connects the covered terrace. Built for avid gardeners, the potting shed mimics the design of the home with lots of light and built-in functionality.
