The owners of this English Manor-style residence wanted their home to graciously accommodate extended visits by their children and grandchildren. The porte cochère obscures initial views of the residence, which is set amid 3.6 acres, and the front façade belies the home’s 9,000 square feet. The design frames views of the landscape, including a golf course and meandering stream. In the rear, bay windows and French doors open the interior to the bucolic setting. A spacious, central living room offers ample space for separate activity zones and large gatherings and connects directly to a vaulted loggia and courtyard.
