With a limestone façade and hipped, slate roof, the traditional bearing of this Sandy Springs residence belies its light and airy interior comprised of generously sized rooms and ample indoor-outdoor entertaining areas. A long, elegant gallery with three high arches acts as the main axis of the house. The living room transitions to a modern extension with floor-to-ceiling, black steel-framed windows and doors that open to the covered terrace, back patio and pool. Alongside the patio, a screened porch serves as an open-air living room with a limestone fireplace and a wide archway connecting to the terrace. An open area in the center of the stone pool house is ideal for al fresco dining.
