The young and growing St. John Paul II Parish in Olathe, KS, is embarking on an ambitious and thorough process of master planning and phased campus construction, with work to begin on the first phase of construction in summer 2025. Taking cues from great campuses like Mundelein Seminary just north of Chicago, the new campus is arranged with strong axes, creating multiple compelling view corridors and giving a gracious, yet tranquil, aspect to the public right of way. The quad—formed by the main gates, school, church and hall—will be a beautiful, accommodating space for a variety of parish activities and ceremonies. The final plan will include a church, school, parish hall, rectory and cemetery, as well as other amenities including a ball field, playground and parking.
