This estate in Bel Air’s East Gate evokes classical Georgian architecture popular in the northeast but with a distinctly Californian vibe. At 17,000 sf, the house is designed for large-scale entertaining, indoors and out, including a ballroom that opens to a terrace, pool, bar, wine room and catering kitchen. The restrained white brick façade punctuated by Euroline steel doors and windows characterizes the residence’s clean, transitional aesthetic. Classical design motifs are updated via unusual treatments, such as yacht-like lacquered paneling, as well as sophisticated custom millwork and dentil moulding.
